Let’s face it. There are only a few teams in your league that are going to be lucky enough to lock down a San Francisco, Baltimore or Chicago to anchor their defensive fantasy efforts from week-to-week. An interesting strategy is to pick-up a fresh defense each week to feast on the worst offenses in the NFL. Its much better than watching Aaron Rodgers and Arian Foster flatten your middle of the road defense week over week. Highlighted below are the worst offenses in the league and the point totals racked up by opposing defenses in the last four games. Based on those numbers, I rank them based on the average score that lucky owners walked away with that week. I also denote the teams that trashed them so you can see if the offensive numbers were genuine awfulness or simply a tough run against the NFL’s best. Finally, the last column shows their coming week’s opponent. I’ll be updating these ranking each Monday so check back in each week to see who is the best pickup to maximize your defensive points for the coming week.
