The NFL professional football team Denver Broncos are based out of Denver, Colorado. The Broncos are an American Football Conference member in the Western Division. Denver plays in Mile High, CO at Invesco Field. The team is owned by Pat Bowlen.

The Broncos were an American Football League charter member and started play in 1960. Following the merger of the AFL and NFL the team became a member of the NFL. The Broncos have played their entire 50 year history in Denver, Colorado and have never changed their name. As an AFL member, the team didn't win any championships. Since the AFL-NFL merger, however, the Denver Broncos have won their division ten times and appeared in the Super Bowl six times, winning Super Bowls XXXII and XXXIII.
