buffalo bills History

The NFL professional football team Buffalo Bills are based out of Buffalo, NY. They are a member of the American Football Conference as part of the East Division. The Bills play their home football games in Orchard Park, a suburb of Buffalo, New York. Their summer training camp takes place in Pittsford, NY at St. John Fisher College. Since 2008 the team also has played one of their home games each season in Toronto, Canada.

The Buffalo Bills were one of the American Football League's charter members in 1960. When the AFL and NFL merged, the Bills joined the National Football League. The Bills won the American Football League championship two years in a row, in 1964 and then again in 1965. However since the merger the team hasn't won a championship. The Bills are the only team that has won four AFC Championships in a row and the only NFL team that has ever played in four Super Bowl games in a row. Since 2002, when the NFL expanded to 32 teams, Buffalo is the only non-expansion AFC team that has not made the playoffs.
